Shetland Gradient Set - Seaweed

We couldn't very well move to a place with such yarn history and heritage like Shetland and not make use of the amazing local wool...so we are very, very proud to introduce to you our Shetland Gradient Sets!

These sets are hand dyed over pure Shetland wool from legendary spinners Jamieson & Smith. They feature the same colour applied to 4 shades of undyed yarn in carefully sorted natural Shetland sheep colours. Each hank is 50gr - a total of 200gr per pack. 

Each shade is 50gr - approx 182m / 199 yds per shade 

4 shades per set - 728m / 796 yds total

Fingering/Jumper weight

Seaweed, like the stuff that washes up on our beaches after a big storm, ranges from a bright lime green to an almost peaty, mossy dark shade.
