Blåne Pelsull yarn from Norway is the latest addition to the Midwinter range.
Produced by the historic mill at Hillsevåg Ullvarefabrikk, it is made from Norwegian Pelssau sheep which give wool similar to the better known Gotland, but with a softer, bouncier handle. As the natural colour of the wool is a marled grey, the dyes colours are full of tweed-like depth and life.
This gorgeous chunky yarn knits up super-fast into big warm sweaters and coat-cardigans, or chunky yet wearable accessories.
100 g = ca 114 m.
approx 14 sts x 22 r = 10 x 10 cm on 6mm needles
Light Blue is a mere wash of a colour over the natural grey, so you can really see the variation on the colour.
